The represents the culmination of a long-time dream. Two closely knit non-profit organizations, two dedicated boards of directors and a multitude of friends of the foundations who are enthusiastic wine lovers, came together to create what is known as the Treasure Coast Wine Festival.
- Held at the Village Shops in Vero Beach, the inaugural Treasure Coast Wine Festival - featuring 50 lots of rare wines, a vast array of exotic travel adventures, and the lively bidding of 320 guests .
- The second annual gala, held at Windsor, continued the tradition of "The Best of the Best" among charity wine auctions in the United States.
- Again held at Windsor in 2003, the third installment of the renowned Treasure Coast Wine Auction continued to gain momentum.
- The event was held at Quail Valley River Club, but more importantly the event was expanded to include Friday night restaurant dinners at some of Vero Beach's finest facilities and a Sunday Grand Tasting of over 120 fine wines.
- The fifth annual Treasure Coast Wine Festival was held on January 21-23, again at Quail Valley River Club and included the addition of dinners with celebrity chefs and noted winemakers.
-
The sixth annual Treasure Coast Wine Festival took on a new format while being held at the Saint Edwards School. Friday night dinners occurred at local restaurants and at private homes. The Sunday Grand Tasting was moved to Saturday afternoon and a more informal setting.
- In six years, the Treasure Coast Wine Festival has raised almost 1.7 million dollars from the live and silent auctions and all has been donated to the respective charities. To grow the wine festival to even higher levels, it was determined that 2007 was a year to reposition ourselves. During this transition year we made application for and received confirmation of our own 501 C3 non-profit status. With the support from the original organizers and several loyal board members and volunteers, we were able to step back, regroup and rebuild. We are proud to announce the return of the Treasure Coast Wine Festival in 2008!
